ABOUT ANNIE PARAISON
You don’t need to become nicer.
You need to see more clearly.
I’m Annie Paraison. I work with the person beneath the reaction, the relationship beneath the conflict, the culture beneath the pattern, and the system beneath the symptom.
When you can see what is actually happening, you gain something powerful: choice.

THE WORK STARTS HERE
When you can see what’s really happening, you can choose differently.
HOW I SEE THE WORK
I rarely see a “people problem” as only a people problem.
If you bring me conflict, resistance, exhaustion, mistrust or a culture that keeps repeating the same painful pattern, I’m listening for more than what happened on the surface.
I’m looking at the person beneath the reaction. The relationship beneath the conflict. The culture beneath the pattern. And the system beneath the symptom.
Because the same behavior means something different depending on the pressure, history, power, expectations and structures around it.
The question isn’t simply: “Who is wrong?”
The more useful question is: What is actually happening here, and what becomes possible when we can see it clearly?
WHAT I ASK
I don’t enter the room asking who the problem is.
Not softer. Clearer.
I ask what people are protecting. What has become normal. What has stopped being said. What the system rewards. Where power sits. What the pressure is doing to attention and behavior. And what would need to become possible instead.
That creates a very different conversation.
WHY I BUILT LOVE BEFORE ALL
I wanted a way to work with the whole reality of a problem.
My work has moved through education, nonprofit leadership, executive leadership and community development. Again and again, I saw technically intelligent people facing problems that were not technical.
The strategy existed. The values existed. The people cared.
What was missing was a way to work with what happened between the plan and the human beings expected to carry it.
Love Before ALL grew from that gap.

WHAT I BRING INTO THE ROOM
Strategy meets humanity here.
SEE CLEARLY
Human behavior. Nervous-system awareness. Relationship dynamics. Culture. Leadership. Business strategy. Systems thinking.
I use them together because your problem probably does not respect professional silos.
I help you slow the situation down enough to separate facts, reactions, patterns and assumptions.
STAY HUMAN
I don’t need a villain in order to name impact, boundaries or accountability.
MOVE
Insight matters when it changes the next conversation, decision, agreement or behavior.
WHAT I BELIEVE
Three principles I come back to.
Not slogans. Working principles. They shape how I facilitate, coach, challenge and design.
Love is action.
Not sentiment, performance or avoidance. It appears in decisions, boundaries, repair and systems.
Relationships are power.
They shape what we can build, withstand, repair and transform together.
Care and performance can coexist.
Your mission should not have to consume the people carrying it.
WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO WORK WITH ME
Warmth without vagueness.
Challenge without humiliation.
Depth without performance.
I want you to leave a conversation with more agency than you had when you entered it.
BACKGROUND
A practitioner shaped by more than one world.
I hold an Executive MBA and bring more than 17 years of leadership experience across education, nonprofit leadership, executive leadership and community development.
But credentials are only useful if they help you trust the work enough to enter it honestly.
What matters most is my ability to hold complexity without flattening it, and to help you turn insight into something usable.

A FEW QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK ME
Before we begin.
Do I need to know exactly what kind of support I need?
No. Tell me what is happening, who is involved and what you want to be different. We can begin there.
Do you only work with organizations?
No. I work with organizations, leaders, coalitions and communities, and I also speak at events and convenings.
Is this therapy?
No. My coaching, facilitation and organizational work are developmental and educational. They are not psychotherapy, diagnosis or medical care.
START WITH WHAT IS HAPPENING
You don’t need to diagnose the problem before you contact me.
Tell me what you’re navigating, who is affected and what you want to be different. We’ll begin there.
